Downloads

Attach downloadable files to your products. Customers with a valid license can download them from the customer portal.

Adding a Download

1. Open the product in admin
2. Go to the Downloads tab
3. Click Add Download
4. Upload the file and set the version number
5. Save

Version Management

Each download has a version number. When you upload a new version, customers see it as an available update in the customer portal.

If you sell Joomla extensions, your customers can also receive updates directly in their Joomla admin panel. See Joomla Update Server Integration for setup instructions.

Secure Downloads

Download files are protected – only customers with a valid license can access them. LicenseDock checks the license before delivering any file.
